Promise

She had been dreaming of seeing a Broadway musical live ever since She was a little girl. She had told everyone around that if She ever got the chance to fulfill her dream, She would be so happy She had promised to take a photo outside. And that is exactly what happened. She was driving to work one morning, when the radio presenter aka He told the listeners that He was giving away an all expense paid trip to New York inclusive of a ticket to any Broadway musical of their choice. She was over the moon about it; She quickly plugged the radio station’s number. She waited as the phone rang, her heartbeat gaining more speed, until He finally picked up the phone. Soon, She was on a plane headed to her dream. She smiled as She looked over the frame of the photograph She took with him outside the first ever Broadway musical She went to, She could not help but smile. He walked up and kissed her cheek and She knew all was well…
He was working his way through law school as a host at a restaurant when He promised himself that if He ever found that special someone He would take her out to that exact same restaurant for a beautiful meal. He had forgotten about it until He finally met her during one of his cases. She was beautiful, radiant, and feisty as a defense attorney. People often said, She seemed like an emotionless woman, because She always kept a straight face irrespective of the case. Wooing her at first was not easy, but He eventually got his chance to show her how He felt about her. It was almost a year later, He was taking a jog across his block when He bumped into the old restaurant where He worked as a host and remembered his promise. Shortly after, He sat on one of the best tables and anxiously looked over the door waiting for the love his wife. As She stepped inside, He knew that his life would change forever…

She had enjoyed watching children play in the park; their little giggles somehow filled her with immense joy. On one of her visits at the park, She met a little girl who seemed a little lost in the crowd. She helped her find her daddy who was frantically looking for her. He was instantly drawn to her calm, kind nature. They kept bumping into one another and finally a week before his daughter’s birthday, they ran into each other at the ice cream parlor. His daughter asked if She would like to come to her birthday party. As She was leaving the party, his daughter handed her a special return gift. It had a little note inside that said, “I am so glad you came to my party. My daddy thinks you’re very pretty and would like to take you out for dinner sometime. Promise me you will say yes.”
