He woke up to the sound of the clatter of the porcelain china. He rubbed his eyes and opened them to see her walk in with a beautiful tray. He was being treated to a breakfast in bed, which He had only dreamed of for years. He had casually mentioned it to her a few times. She had planned carefully to wake up in advance to surprise him on his birthday. She had over the past few months learning how to cook all of his favourite breakfast items. She had also planned a long day of pampering to show him how really special He was. She had always wished for a beautiful birthday surprise. She always dreamt of how perfect it would be. But today as the clock struck twelve and her 24th birthday began, She had to wonder what would She do. Just as She was about switch off her night light, She heard a faint sound coming from outside her window. She walked over and saw that someone in a black suit was playing her favourite tune on a portable keyboard. As She hummed with it, her doorbell rang, She promptly opened it and saw him at the door with a bouquet of her favourite chocolates. And then He began singing Happy Birthday in the most funniest tone ever. After He finished singing , He walked in and kissed her deeply and said, “You thought you would get away with no celebrations. This one of the most special days in my life, because it was the day you my soul mate, angel, light of my life was born. I don’t care however old you become I will always celebrate this day.” She could not help but smile and blush excessively. It truly was a beautiful start to her birthday...

He sat with a nervous tummy in the cab ride to her house. He had planned it thoroughly, He made sure that She would be home thinking that He was away on a conference. He checked the bouquet of bright red roses and put his hand into his pocket. He took out the box with the beautiful silver ring that He had bought to give her. In the other pocket was a velvet pouch that contained a silver bracelet with a few charms, each having its own meaning. As He paid the cab and got off to enter her building, He was not sure of how happy She would be to see him. He exited the lift, rang the door bell and anxiously waited. She came to the door, looking as pretty as ever and shrieked with shock. She could not believe her eyes, He was standing there looking handsome as ever. As She hugged him and let him in, She wiped her tears and knew her life was about to change forever...
